Indian cricket team has become pack of overpaid fools, who lack the basic killing instinct. They are
incompetent,
dosent want to work out in the field,
lack coordination,
lack self confidance.
They even lack any National Pride or self Pride.
They are not Indians, they are just money loving rascles.
this all has happened due to glorification by media and over payment from ads.of these under educated fools.
time and time again they make India look down and make Indian cricket fans in deep sadness and regret.

The basic question is whether the cricketers are earning money highly disproportionate to their abilities. The answer is yes. The remedy is simple. First reduce their pay packets considerably. A game played by 10 nations at the most at the highest level should not command such astronomical pay packets for their players. Next make their payments commensurate with their performance. Not a single paisa in advance. Batting, bowling and fielding performances are to be strictly evaluated at the end of a series or tournament and payments to be made accordingly. Any modelling assignment in the middle of a series or tournament must be banned forthwith. That would show the cricketers their place.

You're just one of the billion crazy people out there who think India is one of the best cricket playing nations. Ever since Kapil Dev's team won the world cup in 1983 the public expects the Indian team to win the world cup everytime without realising if the team really is capable. Stop getting ahead of yourselves, open your damn eyes and look....the Indian domestic cricket structure is poor, too much politics and corruption and we Indians are very emotional.
Look at Australia, they didn't have Shane Warne 2003 but they found Andy Bichel who did the job. They're missing Brett Lee but they easily found a suitable replacement(Stuart Clark). India doesn't develop nearly half as much talent.
If the team does well we start treating them as stars and when they fail, people go vandalise their houses or berate them(like you did). Did you see their faces during the Bangladesh match? They were more worried of what was going to happen to them once they got back to India. Shame on us as a nation that we behave like wild animals. Sorry if I'm rude but I don't think we're civilised enough to play cricket.
The players are not making India look bad but it's because we really suck.

banning from ads is no solution. When they do well, they deserve to be paid. The total span over which they can earn money is very limited(10 years) on average and for every national player you see, there are many others who don't make it. If the money was not there, i wonder how many would take the game seriously(yes they might play as we play football or pool but hardly at international level)
The present debacle is more due to bad selection and team order. If a guy is not performing he should be thrown out like aussies do. We never do that in India. When selectors try doing something, we start a huge uproar and the guy comes back(no intention to take a low blow at Sourav btw, i am his fan also) but sometimes we have to be ruthless.

I do not understand the reason for your anguish. What was it that took you by surprise?
This result was inevitable, this had already come to light owing to the teams performances in the pre-world cup games. We were ill prepared for the world cup and failed to identify new talents.
I am sure the players themselves would have been tearing their heads & cursing themselves over the loss. You and I have nothing to answer to anyone, But the players themselves have to face the billion population in india.
Why put pressure on just this one sport? Don't we have any other sporting teams? The same reactions do not arise when the hockey, football or athletic teams fail to make to the top in their respective fields.
Advertisements are part & parcel of popular personalities, the very reason they are popular is because the mass or population have raised them to that level.
The BCCI knows what has to be done, its their business.
Let us be Cricket fans and watch good cricket rather than worry about poor performances.
Media is also another factor to blame, they have created unwanted Hype over a team that was sure to fail.

It is time that professional cricketers are restricted from other jobs (including advertisements) by the BCCI. The players should be made to only work for BCCI and not for any other media agencies. Look at Australian Cricket Board of South African Cricket Board. Players contracted by these boards do not appear in any Ads within their country. This has to be strictly monitored.
Players make enough money from BCCI and they should be responsible enough to provide justice to the money they are paid. If they are not, they BCCI should be prepared to sack them and replace them with new players. By doing this, the team might not have stars, but players with dedication and commitment to the job are selected into the team.
India needs players of calibre with dedication and commitment within a team. Unfortunately, the current Indian team is filled with players of calibre who lack dedication on their job and who have a commitment to revenues generated through Ads

Not only Indian Cricket Team members but also all Indian National Team members should be banned not only from
advertisements but also in actions which gives them economic benefit by cash or in any other kind. Our team members, once they are selected for the National team to represent the Nation should not participate in any adv, etc, as a code of conduct, like any Govt. servant. They should also not indulge in any sorts of Politics/member of political parties.

Yes, they should not be figured in any advertisement. They don't understand the feelings of the millions of cricket lovers. What Colonel stated is now proved, yes the seniors are not played up to to their mark but we people still give much importance to them so they are figured in the ads. More ads give much irritation while watching the matches at least now onwards they should stop screening cricket players and give some importance to matches.

Yes, they must be.
Or at least the number of advertisements must be limited.
Indian cricketers seem to be running behind money rather than cricket. In the time they spent for acting in advt they can utilize it for good game practice at least.
Did you see the new Pepsi ad? That shows Yuvraj, Sachin, Dravid has Tigers.
Shameful, they must be shown as "DONKEYS" man.
