It would be my guess that the aries/cancer woman would be too goal-oriented, and the capricorn/scorpio man would be too fun-loving.
The female would be interested in school functions and fund-raising, and the male would be into cruises and parties.

Compatibility has nothing to do with the position of the stars at birth. That whole system is completely make believe. I and my wife worked for a major international astrologist for several years when we were in collge. It is all a scam to make money off of the masses.
