I met my now hubby(and my first) online on a military site..that I thought that I had "made up"!!! LOL!
I fell in love, hook line and sinker! I also asked him "if I asked you, would you marry me!?" (He did a little dance, he said....when he got my letter via online...and was sooooo happy! He just couldn't believe it!) And not only did he say yes,but he also asked me...back...to be the gentleman that he is!!
{Would you like it if your sweetie had asked you,fellas?}

(The very top question is for both sexes...regarding where you met and fell in love...)

Well I can not say that I have met the "love of my life" yet...I have met someone who I have very strong feelings for, and even after a divorce, I never thought someone could turn my life around like my boyfriend has. We were actually stationed at the same place (still are, just in different units) and after one company trip, we have been together ever since. The idea of marriage has come up, but I am in no hurry to get married again, and he's in no rush to get married a first time right now, so its all good to me. Alot of my friends ask me if they feel my bioligical clock is ticking (I'm only 26, he is 22) but I don't at all. Afterall my mom had me when she was 30!
Anyways - I would love for my man to ask me to marry him, that would be like, sooooo awesome. What military site did you find him on? How did you guys formally meet? I wish you all the luck in the world!

The love of my life, (Tracy), I met when she was visiting her sick father, who lives in my city.
I was at the sailing club, of which her dad was a member. After a hard day sailing, Tracy, her sister, brother, myself, and another couple went out partying till the early hours of the morning.
A few days later, Tracy flew home, and I was transferred down the coast to work. Meanwhile, her dad passed away.
A couple of years of not seeing Tracy, but chatting via sms, she moved back to my city to be with her mom.
I also moved back.
We ended up getting together, and wow was it intense.
After a few months, I could tell that she was not happy, we had dinner at my place and chatted. I knew she wanted out. I had always said, that I would not ever stop her leaving, if that was what she wanted.
I left for work in the morning, we both cried and hugged each other.
Now she is my best friend, we sleep over at each others houses, (no sex) have dinner together, go to theatre ect...
I have watched boyfriends come and go, and she has met a few ladies that I date.
I have always known, that one day we will get married and start a family
And untill that time, I will just simply love her for being the beautiful person that she is.....

We met at a friend's house when I was 13 and he was 17. We were both with someone else at the time, and then years later our paths crossed again when I was 19 and he was 24 at a gas station. This time I was married, and on the verge or divorce and he was single. After a couple of dates, it was just the right thing, we have been together ever since (seven years next month).

I also met my guy through a online resource but it was called cupid junction, he was in the Marines at the time, shortly after he got out we split up and we hooked up almost 2 yrs ago. He now is in the Nat'L Guards and is deployed. But good news is after all the stumbles and falls we are happily engaged and will be married come this August, not everything is bad with online dating...you just have to pick and choose the right one!!!!!

My wife and I fell in love riding the city bus going to college every morning. We fell for eachother hard, we were very young, graduated and married a couple years later...children a couple of years after that. We never had the proposal, we just naturally flowed in that direction anyways...as if we just both knew. Is she the absolute love of my life? After 20 years, an affair she had, many years of living without much income, and many many ups and downs, I can honestly say YES!

I met my very first love in High school. He was standing across the field house while I was in Gym rollerskating he was watching me and I saw him. We were friends at first and then started dating. We broke up on and off over the years. This time we hadn't seen each other or heard from each other over nine years. And we still have a deep connection and love for each other. The only thing is Igot married.

I met my husband at my aunt's house. My family kept telling me that I would never meet anyone just staying at home all the time, but one day he walked in with one of our friends, and it was love at first sight. We've been married almost 21 years now, and we like to tell people we're still on our honeymoon.

A mutual friend brought us together. It's actually pretty funny. My friend liked this one girl. After I had met her, my friend asked her out, but she didn't want a boyfriend at the time (which was true.) Then we started talking, and after a while I began to realize that it seemed that certain feelings were being developed between us. My friend (the one who asked her out first) totally supports us and we've been dating for two months now.

Long long ago I was a pen pal with a boy who was fighting in Vietnam. When his time was up in the Army, we started dating. We married 6 months later and had two chidren, 7 grandchildren. We have been married over 36 years and love each other more today than on our wedding day. He is my heart and soul........
