i think it's because they have nothing else to really do so they get involved in something that makes them feel worthy in the public's eye. reality answers please.

i know they include military personell but the one's going all out, ie: peta, are usually the type i'm talking about. it's not a prejudice, it's an observation.

while the point is a generalization, i would say that good-looking people get exposed more often to the perks of American life, and thus are less willing to bother seeking out its faults. And lesbians and anarcho-primitivists are hardly the liberal base. they're just the loudest, not the biggest or smartest part.

Maybe really good-looking people also don't happen to stand for anything. Maybe they go with the flow and take orders like sheep and don't want to make waves. No, that can't be it. A lot of good-looking people out there take a stand and try to fight injustice and make their voices heard.
Maybe you're not looking close enough and haven't seen the really hot girls that are out there. And the good-looking guys out there. And the mothers, the fathers, the brothers, the sons, people's friends and people's lovers, all of them human beings. All of them equals. Equal to each other, equal to me, and equal to YOU. And all of them out there because they believe in something.
Who are you to judge people for how they look, anyway?

Next time you see a protest on television, try looking at everyone--rather than searching for those you feel superior to or think its okay to belittle. All you've done is reveal your own prejudices.
For example--most protests nowadays include signifigant numbers of military personnel. If you actuallly LOOK-you'll see them.

Hey, they just so happen to be the bedrock of the Liberal base. They cannot help themselves or the way they look. In any case, they are entertaining when they open their mouths and speak (shout down, or whatever). Nice base, eh?
