pbs concerts?

Recently I saw a concert of the old doo-wop stars from the 50's and 60's. Where do they hold these concerts and how do you get tickets for them?

A lot of the concerts that they show on my local PBS station are put on by Austin City Limits. For these shows, you have to live in Austin to get tickets (if you do, E-mail me)

Other than that, I think that the shows are taken from all over. I saw a Tom Petty concert from Gainsville, and a Pink Floyd concert from, I think, The Albert Hall.
