If you mean an iMac, there's just one, the power cord. The CPU, monitor, speakers, and drives are all integrated into one unit.

A MacPro has a power cord for the computer, another power cord for the monitor, and a cable between the computer and monitor for a total of three. If you add speakers, you're also looking at a cord from the computer to the speakers and a power cord for the speakers, bringing your total for the MacPro to five.

Hi CiCi,

The more gadgets, the more cords. :-) But the main power cord is just one cord. Is that what you mean?

Basically, there's only the power supply. But then there's the monitor and keyboards and mice and modems and all that.
