I went to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/. I get to the part after I put in my email, them it brings me to the page that says thank you for downloading itunes. And that it, I dont see it in my programs. Does that mean it did not fully download? are there more steps after that?

Actually, you are downloading the iTunes installer. Be sure to pay attention to where you are downloading it to on your computer. Then go there, double click the installer, and it will install iTunes. Usually, you're given the option to choose where you want to save downloads, so just save it to wherever you want to. I usually save installers to my desktop so they are easy to find and then after it's done installing the software, I delete the installer.

Oh make sure that if you have a Windows PC that you download the Windows version. Some Windows guys have downloaded the Mac version by mistake. Best of luck to you.
