Okay, right off the bat, realize that NO WOMAN knows what the signs are. They all seem to think they know.
Men aren't especially complex (women are generally insane) if he likes you it should be obvious. Try not to overanalyze his behavior. If he likes you, he will likely tell you that himself.
Stealing looks at you (what women consider the most definite sign) means nothing and everything. It usually means that he either thought you where looking at him, that he thinks you're attractive, or he could just be looking in your general direction (everything but nothing). An average guy will "steal glances" at about 20 girls per day for various reasons.
So, maybe he does like you and maybe he doesn't, the more important question is - do you like him? Why or why not?
To give a really conclusive answer, I would need to know more about the guy and the setting.

Sometimes if a guy likes u, he acts shy around you.
You can tell by the way that he talks to you, if he laughs at your lame jokes, and if he always finds someway to touch you or talk to u.

one if hes mature enough hell call u alot and want to hang out alot. hell pay attention to u in school if ur in school. flirt with u. sometimes bit mean to u and give u a nickname, or call u names. do things that get ur attention. stuff like that. u can tell alot of the times when a guy likes u if hes trying to be obvious.
however if hes immature. hes gonna be really mean to u infront of his friends. and if hes alone he might try to be nice to u but infront of his friends hes going to try to act "hard".

Walk pass him a few times to see at the corner of your eyes -whether he looks at you , but don't make it too obvious.

does he call you or you him? does he make time for u? If your intuition tells u that he is not being 100% honest and faithful then he is not as into you as you are him!!

a) glancing occasionally at you in places that it would be unusual.
b) noticing your work(projects, etc.)
c)wanting to work w/you
d) acting embarrased/blushing when ppl tease and say he likes u.
