Whatever you do, do not dry clean it or use bleach. That will completely destroy it. You should be ok with either hand or machine washing though. I machine wash my leafs and sharks Jerseys all the time, and I have had the Sharks one for quite a long time, like 8 or 9 years and it is still like I just go it. So, without dry cleaning or bleaching it, you should be alright if you machine or hand wash your new jersey. Enjoy it, he is really carrying those Canucks this year.

It should have directions on it. If not then be safe and wash on gentle cycle in cool or cold water and remove right away and let it lie flat to almost fry then put in dryer on no heat. If it is a real treasure to you wash by hand using Woolite, which you can use in the washer also, then put it longways in a big towel and squeeze by twisting the towel from each end, the follow the same directions. It should have directions on the inside side or bottom for washing. Dry cleaning is an option and maybe only wearing it when you won't be sweating or getting dirty will cut down on the times you have to wash it, just let it air out by hanging outside but not in direct sun.

I always hand wash any clothes I think will be damaged in the washing machine. If you don't want to take the time to hand wash, then make sure you turn your jersey inside out when you put it in the wash. I do this with any of my shirts that have pictures or writing on it that looks like it will peel off easily. If I were you, I wouldn't put it in the dryer either. I would just let it air dry.

With my jerseys, I usually wash it in cold water ( so it won't shrink) in the washing machine. You could hand wash it, but if it's really dirty you will have a better luck cleaning in in the washing machine. As someone else said though, if you machine wash it, hang dry it. Good luck.
Oh by the way Luongo sucks! Go Av's!

We've cooperated with a lot of suppliers before but the below one particular is actually my favorite. They own so many unique jerseys contains scarce ones that you just are unable to get from other retail stores. The product quality and services is best you might find online with so low price. With this distributor, I do believe you will not disappoint you or your customers.

Hand wash in cool water, and make sure you rinse it out good. Don't twist to wring it out, and hang dry.
You may be able to get away with washing it on a delicate cycle in your machine using a sweater bag (you can get them at Bed Bath) or even an old pillowcase tied shut.

There should be a tag on the jersey. Wash it normally and then, like someone said, hang it up to dry. The dryer is what ruins them.

My husband wears those. I wash them in cold water and hang them to dry. It is drying it that will mess it up, not washing it. Hope it helps!
