What the heck were the ref's thinking, he should be suspended. That was totally uncalled for, he should have dropped the gloves and taken his beating like a man. What a coward, guess he lived up to his sissy name.

But that's just the thing I'm maddest about. The refs only gave Tootoo a double minor, I mean he should have been tossed out of the game or at least given a 10 minute game misconduct. On top of that, they gave Robidas a two minute minor for CHARGING!

Tootoo is a cheap shot artist, he has been making a career from his play. He will never drop the gloves against someone who could legitimately beat the hell out of him. When he looks up and sees he has drawn the attention of some one he is clearly out classed by in toughness he resorts to a sucker punch. Then usually looks for the linesman to come in and save his sorry butt. If he does not get suspended for that ridiculous display last night then the linesman should step out of the way next time he draws the attention of a legitimate fighter. His conduct and style of play is just the type of thing that they should allow the players to take care of themselves. I do believe if he gets the snot knocked out of him a few times he may think twice about running the oppositions star players. However believing that Tootoo is the only dirty player on that illegitimate franchise is wrong Trotz has coached a team of cheap shot artists for several years.

My call would be one game maybe however it seems like a fairly clean punch it just one of those thing were thing come together to make something very bad indeed. Robidas was going full force for a hit on tootoo at a angle that Tootoo would have a hard time seeing him, but because the Sport reporters who watch one game a year are still talking about the Simions attack I think Campbell will come down on him hard. This is of couse were we get into intent vrs outcome, I think Tootoo had little or no intent to hurt Robidas however he was badly hurt on the other hard Simion had major intent to hurt when he whent two handed for another players head yet luckly there was no major harm done. Wich is wrost of the game? I would say simion and that the NHL should punish intent insteed of outcome

That's fine. The more and more you watch your team play against Nashville with Tootoo playing in those games, the more you're gonna see that he's actually the one diggin his own team's grave by drawing more penalties. There is fine line between being physical and aggressive so that your team does not get pushed around by the opposing players, and being dumb and not being able to control your attitude that leads to a distraction during games that piss off the refs.

Robidas is doing much better. The docs said it was only a concussion and that no time table has been set for his return. Yes Tootoo should be suspended but no new news has come up from the NHL.

Ya it was pretty cheap, but sometimes emotions get the better of the player and they lose it, but as a proffesional, you need to control that. I think he will be suspended. Not like Simon, but probably a couple of games.

U mean what he did to stephane robidas? i was so mad cause the dallas stars are my favorite team. I dont know whta his problem is but i hope he gets suspended for the rest of the season. it was kinda funny when modano hit him with the stick.

Cheap shot, lack of control, no respect for others, etc. I will be disappointed if he isn't suspended.
