Hello Ejsenstejn,
Of course you don't have to be an artist to own a Mac. A lot of Mac users enjoy using their Macs to contact the Internet, listen to music, play games, do their genealogy, even do their work stuff. Unix guys like using the terminal or Unix ports. Did you know that Apple is the largest distributor of Unix in the world?
Don't let the Windows Nazis tell you that the Macintosh is just fort "Artist Types". Just enjoy using your Mac how you want to. ;-)

Nah, rich guys just buy a Mac coz it makes them look good. Rich people consider a Mac as a 'bling bling'. No one needs to be an artist to own an Mac as long they have the money to afford it.

No. Macs are great for everything and they are super easy to use. You also don't have to worry about viruses. Downside- you will probably pay more for accessories (although there are a ton built right in) and some games aren't made for Mac. Good luck!

No..... Anyone can own an apple computer with mac. on it. Not that I would recommend it...to anyone, but you can, and its your choice.
