Try comparing prices. Look for a genric brand. Also if you go to dicount stores they have high quality stuff for a low price. iE biglots. and try going to the mall and the makeup section and ask for speacials.

I have been a loyal MAC costumer for 7 years. Their shadows are high pigmented and range in a beautiful variety of colors. I can wear the same eyeshadow on a 16 hour shift and need no touch-ups. MACs products are inexpensive compared to their quality of products. The sales reps rarely lead u in the wrong direction. I can't think of a second best makeup line. Once u go MAC, u will never go back.

the only MAC cometics i own is an eyeshadow, and the reason i got it was that i couldn't find that color anywhere else, and believe me, i LOOKED everywhere.
personally, most of my makeup comes from CVS and other drugstores. i personally believe that it's in the WAY you put the makeup on that makes the difference, not the price of it. eyeshadow is eyeshadow, not much difference in the pricier brands. i've done theater makeup, and wear makeup for everyday life, and have used both at various times. if you know what you are doing, that's what makes the difference.
go to Target, or Walmart. mix things up, practice to get the desired effects. all i know is that i have saved more money NOT buying expensive stuff. paying $13 for that one MAC eyshadow almost made me cry, but i use it a lot, so it was totally worth it.

I've used Maybelline since forever. I love their eyeshadow. It never creases and it doesn't usually fade. They also have awesome lipsticks too. I adore their macaras too. Maybelline is my life! I've tried brands like Chanel, Clinique, Dior, SK-II, Shiseido, all those high-end brands and for some reason I still like Maybelline. Maybe it's just a habit. I'm obsessed with brands. Even though I can get better/more expensice stuff I stick with brands I've used for a long time. Mac does have really good colors but I still love Maybelline. Love love love love it. Plus it's like wicked wicked cheap.

max factor is better!! They offer great products that are cheaper than MAC. It was the makeup used in movies in the 30's and 40's and star such as, Marilyn Monroe, used it.

well my sister uses mac makeup and she likes it a lot. maybe its the quality that they have, like my sister bought this mascara and it was clumpy so she returned it like a month after. they didnt even ask why she returned they gave her a brand new one right away. or maybe they just like all the colors and choices they have but i dont know!

They have the best color pigments.. lasts all day (or night)

They have a huge selection of colours.

Their products are somewhat pricey but they're of excellent quality, as well as cruelty-free.
