i agree with and believe in the concept of bisexuality, i also support Kinsey's idea that there are different levels of being bisexual. some are more straight than gay, others equal, others vice-versa.. also, some bisexuals want a monagamous relationship, while other's don't. some crave different things from different sexes, ie romance from one and sexual activity from both or the other..
the confusion part occurs during the years before a true bisexual comes to accept and understand their true self.
i thought i was straight, heck, society tells me i am straight. but i finally realized i was transsexual and bisexual,so there you go. no more confusion!

i was molested by a male neighbor from the age of 10 to 13.
he sucked my cock and it felt so good. eventually i learned that i must do the same in return. once i discovered that my innocense was violated i hated him with a passion.
then i discovered the wonderful smell of a woman's private parts and discovered a clitoris with my tongue. after hours of giving her pleasure i would the following day lick my mustache and beard remembering her. that went on for years. and yet i have again learned that penises are really kewl too.
the sad thing is that the whole of the world doesn't recognize that if we were all bisexual there would be a lot less violence and killing.
like in leaves of grass by walt whitman how could a man kill another human so beautiful ?
whatever you are most comfortable with is perfectly okay, providing it's not children or animals methinks.

Society pushes people to "pick a side" as if the world is divided into teams like a national sports league.
There are people who behave homosexually, there are people who behave heterosexually, and there are people who behave both homo- and heterosexually; they behave bisexually. That's actually true.
Like many other things, sexual orientation, which "gender" a person is attracted to (and to what magnitude), is not simply black or white, it's a smooth spectrum: Some people are attracted to both genders, some are more attracted to men, some are attracted to men only, some are more attracted to women, some are attracted to women only, and there are FEW who aren't attracted to men or women.

look up the mcKinsey scale. That may help with your opinion on the matter of bisexuality.
I lean more towards being a lesbian but once in a while a guy will show up in my life who I fall for -very rarely though-

No, the people I know aren't 'confused'. There is a such thing as bisexuality. Good for you.

The best answer I can give you is a quote from the movie "Liquid Sky" "If you love someone, why should it matter what shape their genitals are?"
