I currently have Dreamweaver and I have a trail of Macromedia Flash Pro 8, but I need something more user friendly.
There is a template that needs editing and just editing the html files don't seem to be doing the trick, even when I try
to have the main flash part bring them up when loading. Anything that is airhead proof enough for me should work well for my client when they need to maintain their site LOL.

Well I'm not tryin to do it from scratch. I was told it was a template, and I've seen good flash templates b4, it's just this template sucks. Like it's a template 4 ppl who know flash LOL. I don't *KNOW* Flash enough to manipulate the Movie part of the thingy. I just need something that'll help me edit the "movie" part of the flash, any editor that can do that then?

Flash is not an easy format to work with. No one makes an "airhead proof" version of particle physics software because it's not an airhead-proof field. Flash is Flash, and you use the Flash environment to work with it. If you're having a hard time getting started, try checking out the Flash for Dummies book - it's a great book for those who are just starting out and don't have any prior experience. http://www.amazon.com/Macromedia-Flash-Dummies-Computer-Tech/dp/0764596918/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-0984288-7766013?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1174193863&sr=8-1

Edit: the template was made in Flash, so you need to edit the template in Flash. Just like a document made in Word has to be edited in Word. I'm sorry, but that's just how it works. Flash is edited in the Flash studio. It's a proprietary file format from Adobe/Macromedia. There are other programs that can create SWF files (like Swish), but only Flash can edit Flash files.
