Not likely if it is a perfect hole. Bullets typically expand and transfer a tremendous amount of energy that would likely shatter a rock. Erosion could do it or it could have been made by people. Maybe it is an arrow straightener or some other artifact.

No it's not a bullet hole in rock. It was likely drilled in the rock in order to attach something. A bullet impact would not create a perfect round hole. It may or may not have anything to do with the battle. It might have been used for an eyebolt to tie up a fishing boat. It might have been used for an anchor point for a machine gun nest.

Depends on the bullet, depends on the rock. Generally speaking, though, a bullet would not make a perfect hole in anything, because of the explosive impact.

No, for it would bounce off or shatter the rock. The hole was possibly made by drilling. You can pick rocks up with regular holes around the old Cornish mines

Anything is possible, but if it is a perfect hole, it's probably not a bullet. When a bullet penetrates something, the point of entry is smaller than the exit area.

I am sorry that all the answerer's are saying no. ( Although I have to agree with them). Wouldn't that have been an amazing eye popping sort of "Wow" moment if it were correct!

I'd say its more likely to have been water erosion... especially if the hole is smooth.
