have you ever met anyone famous in person and how?

just curious...i personally have met Rihanna, Craig morgan and josh gracin. and actually tripped going up the stairs RIGHT in front of Paul Wall...and he laughed at me. lol

I have met Bon Jovi, the whole band when they toured in Australia in 1988. My sister and I went into town with one ambition, to meet them. It was their last night in town, our Mum was out so we thought lets do it.

We dressed up and went into the city to the hotel where they were staying, security was everywhere and we pretended we didn't know why. A security officer asked us what we we up to and you wouldn't believe he actually knew us from our local nightclub.

We said we had made the trip all the way into town in the hope of meeting Bon Jovi, he said if we come back around 11.00pm he would let us into the hotel.

I was so nervous I thought i was going to be sick, one of our friends was supposed to come with us and she told us we were being silly we would never meet them.

We were led inside with strict instructions not to take photo's or ask for autographs. We ordered a drink each, I had a midouri and i could hear footsteps, coming up the stairs were Jon and Ritchie. They greeted us with "Evening Ladies" I nearly passed out!

After an hour of chit chat Jon states he is retiring, i though this is now or never, I have one and only chance to get an autograph or photo with Jon and I thought if I get thrown out by security who cares he is going anyway.

I am happy to say John posed for photo's and nicely signed autographs. We took the drinks menu as proof we had been at the hotel. Our first stop on the way home was at our friends house (the one who said we won't meet them) to show her the photo's.

JON BON JOVI is a truly friendly, beautiful person and I will never forget meeting him ever! In 2001 I won a competition to see them live, I was lucky enough to watch a few songs on stage. He walked over toward me looked at me, i though he is looking at someone behind me and turned around, no one was there, he was looking at me! He came right over smiled and gave me a kiss in front of 40,000 people as I stood in shock onstage.

I could go on for days, but this was one of the most amazing things that has happended to me, I am truly a lucky person!

I met Nick Cannon, Orlando Bloom, Sharon Stone, Emilio Estevez, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore and Joshua Jackson. I met them at the Film Festival. That is a good way to see/meet stars, it's also amazingly fun.

Yes, I met David Lee Roth in a bar in the 80's before he tried to straighten himself out. We spoke to each other in Spanish.
He was wasted.

Chad Lowe approached me at a disco when I was about 18. He was the epitome of politeness.

A few, Torri Higginson and Alexis Cruz at a Stargate convention, we had a really good conversation. Darren Hayes, I won a competition to meet him, lots of bands, Raze, OC Supertones, Skillet, Toby Mac, Earthsuit, Aqua, Taxiride (I still owe Jason a swedish massage!) to name a few, and Gabriel Byrne, my celeb crush, at a bar while he was filming Jindabyne. He bought me a drink! That was the best night of my life!!!

My claim to fame must be chatting to Robbie Williams for about 15 minutes, not having a clue who he was until a queue formed and somebody told me !

Haha, yes. I met a newscaster (not that famous, but still pretty cool), and I bumped into a Notre Dame football player at an airport.
My mom has the best famous-person story, though: When she was nine, she was at her brother's baseball game. Her brother snuck out of the dugout, picked up a squirrel, and told her to pet it. When she did, it bit her, and she went to the hospital. While she was waiting, she was talking to this guy. She talked to him for a good hour. She didn't know who he was. When her parents asked who she talked to in the car, she said his name (I don't remember it), and her brother (who hadn't been there) jumped up, and started screaming "YOU TALKED TO HIM!!!!" Turns out he was a Sox player -- they lived in Chicago.

anyway, my dad was in the navy, and so my dad didn't want lose the oppertunity... but my friend's dad works with this magazene, so hes got alota bands and people, like hilary duff, simple plan.. (and other bands for teens)

I met Brock Lesner (he's a wrestler for those of you who DON"T know) and I thought he was hot s***!! I met him at a photo signing! the best part of it all was that It was right around Valentines Day, so I bought a valaentines card for him to sign... to me, lol!! It was talking about how my valetines present was his birthday suit!! Fun times!!

While my x was working at the University of Chicago Hospital, I met him for lunch. As I walked out his office door, I was knocked to the floor by Harrison Ford!
