My friend had to go on birth control because her period wasn't regular and then in January she quit taking them, but she hasn't had her period since. Is that normal? I'm really worried.
(And she's about 15, almost 16)

Heck yeah it's normal! Your body has been fooled into thinking it was pregnant by artificial hormones! Think about how much hormones can make you moody, amplify that, and wham, you can get an idea of how powerful The Pill can be. It can take a long time to get your period back, but it shouldn't be a problem unless she wants to get pregnant.

thats completely normal. because shes so young her body is still changing. The pill regulates periods, so if everything becomes regulated and you take the regulator off...everything becaomes all wacked out. Don't worry, you're friend is perfectly fine (unless shes sexually active, then she may wanna take a pregnancy test) But don't worry. I'm 18, and I haven't had my period in 7 and a half weeks

For how ever long she was on the pill, her hormone levels were being artifically controlled by the medication. now her body has to get used to controlling the balance on its own again. this takes time, the amount of time depends on the individual. but if she is concerned she should go to a doctor

Yeahs it is very normal...once i missed like two pills and i didn't get my period for two months. birth control is more power full than people think dont worry it will come. it wouldn't hurt to get a doctor appt. though

It isn't exactly normal but it doesn't necessarily mean that there is anything serious wrong. She needs to follow-up with her doctor to stay on top of things.
