I recently started using a progesterone cream as my doctor recommended it to offset the symptoms of estrogen dominance. I started taking it on day 20 after my regular period. It's now day 35 and I still have no period. Is this something that happens when on progesterone (being late)? Or do you usually have your period when you stop using progesterone? I'm concerned and there is a slight possiblity I could be pregnant. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Progesterone can definitely delay your period. It will start eventually even if you continue the progesterone, but it will be slow and lengthy. If you stop the progesterone, your period will come faster and end quicker. There is a chance you could be pregnant if you are not using birth control, so take a pregnancy test. The progesterone will not affect the results of the pregnancy test.
