I was told that the father/judge on fresh prince of bel air and family matters are gay. I am shocked because I find it hard to believe. I dont have anything against gay people its just shocking because they play straight characters well. Did anyone know of this??

I don't think Uncle Phil is gay. I remember him saying years ago on a show that he had a wife. Then again, things change. So he might not have came out of the closet then. As for Reginald Vel Johnson from F. Matters. Again, I don't think he's gay, but you never know.

No. James Avery(Fresh Prince of Bel Air) is married. But that Reginald guy, maybe. But I've never heard anything about it.

I haven't heard that rumor about those two. Just a quick side bar, lots of gay people play straight characters on and off the screen all the time. Many do it very well.

i heard this also,but i don't know if it's true.but there were rumours going around that eddie from family matters has aids.
