Regardless of work experience one of the first things you should learn doing a job search is never put all your eggs in one basket since your avatar didn't look much like the easter bunny.

Rather than waiting 7-10 days to hear from Target you should be hitting the streets applying at other similar retail stores. Hopefully you will be able to choose between the different offers you receive to get the schedule and money you need.

It depends:
1) What's your work history?
2) How did you interview?
3) Did they think that you really wanted the job?

Start up a conversation with an associate in the department you'd like to work in. Ask how long they've worked there and if they like it. Give them your name and let them know you really want to work there too. You'll be surprised at how quickly they will hunt down their manager to put in a good word for you if they really want to work with you.

Probably pretty good if you interviewed well, dressed professionally, and displayed an aptitude for learning. Target and other retailers often hire employees with little or no experience and train them.

Good luck!

Whenever i go into target i always notice its usually 16 year old girls at the register. I dont think target cares too much about work history.

It all depends on your qualifications. Plus your attitude and if you want the job.
