Do you have any good substitutes for those? Also, anyone out there cut hair? I told people it's high end, sounded good to me. We charge a lot.

Same thing happened to my uncle. Instead of using scissors, use bubble gum, and mirrors are overrated. Don't hire a barber, hire a dog groomer, they are cheaper, and less gay.

most Walmarts are open 24 hrs. Get mirrors and scissors there to get by until you can go to the supply store. Best wishes on your business.

Well you obviously don't know the first thing about starting or opening a business. Before you start charging high prices, you have to either have good marketing or a good reputation in which I don't think you have both.

Each hair stylist should have their own scissors, i know my daughter's are very expensive, about $200. [some even higher], probably why barbers etc. may keep them in their front shirt pocket, they can easily go missing. You [they] order them from a professional stylist's catalog,
You have to have the right tools to do a quality job, you should know that.

For mirrors, go to the 99 cents store for quick, cheap ones. And remember to buff them VERY well. Try going to Target, Wal-Mart, or a store that specializes in hair products for scissors.

just do colors, high lights.
burn the ends with a candle flame if you have. make a living man.
you don't need mirrors anyways, their overated. and the customers are hardly going to drive all the way back to your salon to complain once they get home and look in their mirror. hey, you may have something here.
last but not least.....get em drunk.
