Why is Captain Janeway under appreciated?

She has the shortest entry on wikipedia, 90% of conversations about her are about launching photon torpedoes into her black hole, and she is never in the great Picard vs Kirk debate? Why do you nerds hate her?

I mean her article is the smallest of all ship commanders.

Kate Mulgrew is a terrible actress. That's why. She's not even a working actress since Voyager got cancelled.

The real issue is that Star Trek has been heavily mis-managed creatively and as a business since Roddenberry's Death.

I think Star Trek: TNG sucks after season 2, and it wasn't that good before that. The subsequent spin-offs are completely awful, and further wrecked Trek's value.

The fact that Star Trek is completely beneath Star Wars as a pop culture property, is just sad. Class Trek is awesome.

And with the recent Star Wars prequels being some of the worst movies of all time....I hope JJ Abrams can work a major miracle, and revive Star Trek.

You know, actually come to think of it....Star Trek ends your career, if you aren't William Shatner. That's how low the shows were. It's embarassingly bad.

Because she's a woman. Her entire crew weren't all that interesting. You can also blame Seven of Nine. I think most Trekkies would rather talk about Seven than Janeway.

Did you look up Jonathan Archer from Star Trek: Enterprise? He should have the shortest entry since he pretty much killed the Star Trek franchise.

simply put. she doesnt matter. at all.historically int he star trek universe if she wouldnt have existed not much would ahve changed. kirk picard even the entirety of DS9 effected the whole federation. janeway just sucks.

Because she is a strong woman who is a force to be recken with. They can't handle it. Wiki is a waste of time anyway.
