CONGRATS ON YOUR PREGNANCY! & HAPPY BORN DAY!

Cute belly pics! Well the first thing i have to say is everyones pregnancy is different. we all do not look the same at the same time. Im 23 weeks and people look at me like i am 30! I am holding a lot of water weight that makes me look bigger when she is really measuring a little small.

When you go to the doctor on the 21st he or she will be able to tell you how far you really are and give you a estimated due date from the ultrasound.

If it was a tubal pregnancy you would have known it by now. at about 6-8 weeks is when, if not already detected by an ultrasound, the falopian tube would be at risk of bursting. Before it does, you would be feeling horrid pains. If you are not at this time, then its not forming in your tubes. And i have never heard of a woman 'blowing up" because of a etopic pregnancy.

if you do start to feel pains, just go directly to the emergency room. they will be able to give you a ultrasound at that time and confirm where your soon to be bundle is nesting. I wouldnt worry at all. You are just starting to expand. Just wait till he or she starts to stand up and dance in there! You will be seeing all kinds of pop corn action down there!

Congrats again and happy born day!

Brandie,
I couldn't get to your pics and you don't say how far along you are. If you had a tuble pregnancy and you were at the "blowing up stage" you would be in incredible pain. If you've had kids before then you will probably see a big difference from week to week as your uterus grows. If your at the 4.5-5 month mark same thing. Also if you're farther along the baby could have shifted and made your tummy appear even bigger if it's laying more to the front of your uterus. I hope this helps. Unless your in alot of pain I don't think you have anything to worry about tonight. Hope this helps. To ease your mind you should probably call your doc next week and maybe you can get in for an ultrasound. Also, the best book to get is "What to Expect When You're Expecting", it has alot of info in it.
Good luck.
C.

Brandie, don't worry! You and the baby are fine. I'm not sure how far along you are but if you're pregnant and it's certain and you are more than one month pregnant, you have nothing to worry about as far as a tubal pregnancy is concerned. A tubal pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg implants in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus. An implanted egg in the fallopian tube is going to die. The tube is not meant to be a site of implantation. The growing embryo in a fallopian tube will push at the walls of the tube and rupture it within days of fertilization. A woman experiencing tubal pregnancy hemmorhage will experience intense, debilitating pain. She will not be able to move or walk. She would likely go into shock and have to be rushed to the hospital. So if you are more than a month pregnant, rest easy. You have nothing to worry about. Just go for routing prenatal checkups and take care of yourself during your pregnancy. Good Luck!

Happy Birthday Brandie!!!
Okay so I am pretty sure that a tubal pregnancy will not cause you to gain weight quickly and I think that you would feel more pain that normal. How far along are you? Are you sure you are pregnant? I couldn't see the pics so I really don't have an idea there. Your best bet is to go see a doctor asap since a tubal pregnancy can be deadly if it ruptures and goes unchecked. Good luck.

The link isnt working, but If u have a tubal pregnancy trust me u would know...most of the time people dont show the symptoms of one until week 12 and further due to no space for the baby which causes lots and lots of pain...If your tummy got big like this from a tubal u would have the pain to go with it and with that u wouldnt be able to talk to us right now...Soooo many people dont know enough about pregnancy and are giving u misinformation...If u are scared or worried ask your doctor..But i almost guarantee u are fine....

Most of the time if u have an ectopic u will notice very sharp pains *usually on one side of your lower abdomen that dont go away and vaginal bleeding...Relax and enjoy your pregnant, stress is not good for baby and u are worrying for nothing im sure...A lot of times in early pregnancy u will get very bloated overnight and u may think u are growing very quick but its just gas distension and bloat...its normal...With this pregnancy one night i went to bed looking like i had just a little tiny tummy..i woke up in the morning and looked like i was 4 months...My baby is fine in my uterus and it was just bloating, now im 20 weeks and showing it..dont worry, chill. u will be ok =)

Many women bloat at around that time. It is tempting to even wear maternity clothes for comfort. Drink lots of water and your belly will go back down in about a week. If you can't stand it, call the clinic and make an appointment. Happy Birthday and have a good night.

As your bump gets bigger, you might get more stretch marks. My sister used Almond oil through out the whole pregancy and never got one stretch mark even though she put on nearlt 4 stone! Go buy a bottle (from some kinda health shop or internet) put it in the bath, and rub in the skin whenever you can! Good luck! x

still isn't pasted right...

anyway, if you had a tubal pregnancy, you'd be in a lot of pain. don't worry, have a safe birthday, and if you are still worried, or experiencing pain, call the doctor or go to the hospital.
