There are quite a few ways to keep score of a baseball game, but I think the easiest is this:all nine players in the field are numbered, the pitcher is#1,catcher is#2, 1st baseman is#3.2nd baseman #4, shortstop#6, third baseman#5,leftfielder#7, centerfielder#8,rightfielder#9.Now for the game, your ist batter hits a grounder to the s.s and is thrown out at first, you would score it 6-3.A infield fly out to the 2nd baseman is a 4.To score hits most game programs have a baseball diamond for each player and inning,a single would be scored by putting a 1on the inside of the line going from home to 1st base, a double a 2 on the inside of the 2nd line, a triple a 3, a home- run an HR in the middle of the diamond. Now for some others: If a player steals 2nd base on the top of the line going from first to second you put SB, a double- play grounder SS to 2nd to1st is 6-4-3.. Another example is you have a runner on 3rd base with 1 out your batter hits a fly ball to the left-fielder, after the catch the runner tags up and tries to score but is thrown out at homeplate the scoring would be 7-2 DP. I hope this has helped you, Play-ball.

I've developed my system over a period of years,

Example, ^6. popped up to shortstop, -6 lined to shortstop =-, , L - runner left on base.

There are many ways, but go and develop your own system. How technical do you want to get??

its complicated especially the higher level u get...draw around teh bases where the batter goes..if he steals draw the line to that base and and write sb...if its a sac fly.. draw the batter out at first and draw the other runner over and write sac...its very complicated. sometimes.
