There is interaction between your conscious and subconscious thoughts. In remembering and focusing on your dream fall you were able to create a self-fulfilling prophecy. Although and perhaps because your attention wasn't focused on it at the time, you subconsciously selected your clothes, the discussion, and the fall to make your dream a reality!
Who says you can't make your dreams come true?
