Is Metallica and Megadeth succesful. Which is more sucessful? Do you think Kirk Hammett is filipino?

I think they are both sucessful, but Metallica is more sucessful.
Metallica is more sucessful because many people consider megadeth a spawn of metallica. Dave Mustine, even admitted it himself in the movie "Some Kind Of Monster" that Metallica is more sucessful. Another sign that Metallica is more sucessful is their ability to sue Napster. Since Lars alone decided to sue napster, he showed that only a monster as big as them had the ability to do that. a band like megadeth cannot have done that.

No question or doubt, Metallica is much more commercially successful than Megadeth, although I think Megadeth was more musically talented than the boyz in Metallica. Kirk Hammett couldn't even began to compete with likes of Marty Friedman. Dave Mustaine is marginal as vocalist, but their tunes seem to suit his voice to a tee. IMHO Metallica sort of sold their souls, style and ultimately their standing in metal by being accused by many critics and fans as selling out to the mainstream. Megadeth to their credit did not do such a thing. BTW, for all the retards who answered this question not knowing who Megadeth was or Dave Mustaine should have done us all a favor and not even attempted an answer, as we now are all dumber just from having to read their ignorant responses.

being a huge metallica fan ill say that metallica is the most successful. im also a fan of megadeth. i can't believe some of you haven't heard of Megadeth. lol im actually wearing a t-shirt from megadeth. although i think that metallica's last album St. Anger sucked, i think they are the greatest band who ever lived. megadeth, creates amazing music. i recommend a couple of albums for those who've never heard of them. Peace Sells...But who's buying?, Rust in Peace, Countdown to Extinction. great albums. as for metallica i love all the albums except for reload and st anger.

Metallica is more successful. Browse their home site and just look how long they've been around and how many more hits they have. Metallica kicks all kinds of trash. They are too cool to not be the very best.

I don't know about megadeth but my husband has nearly all of the Metallica albums and there are alot of them. I would defiantly say that Metallica is way better and that they are more successful.

Metallica is the more successful,but Megadeth is better musically and lyrically.

I think Hammet is Latino,if I remember correctly.

Metallica is probably more sucessful, as I've heard of them and never heard of Megadeth. Whether they're better, I have no clue.
