So I put a cd in my mac laptop and it made a weird noise and now the cd won't play nor will it eject? What else can I do? I've tried turning the computer off and on and holding the eject button. I really don't want to tell my dad about it, cause we have been having to many problems with this computer.

The eject button works and it makes the eject noise that it always does but nothing comes out.

There isn't a little pin hole for me to insert a pin. This is a mac, not a pc!!! Different computers!

enter a pin inside the small whole on the front side of the CD driver. You should push the pin carefully. The CD holder will come out a bit each time you push. This is a manual final solution. Use this way when the CD stuck inside and it won't go out in the normal way - eject.

Every CD drive has a small emergency eject button on it. Look at the door for a small pin hole. use a paperclip and push it into the hole. the door will open up so you can get your CD out.

I dont really know MACs very well...but on a Windows computer you would go to 'My Computer' and the right-click on the cd-drive and then hit 'eject'. The physical eject button the the drive on your computer may be broken.

The trackpad button is the button where your mouse is. It's what you use to click on icons.

no longer something will ensue. it should be like putting Mac software on a living house windows or vice versa. An icon will likely seem on the computer yet once you attempt to open it,you is honestly no longer waiting to.
