After being a participant of an affair and being strung along by a married man, I WANT OUT!!!

I've seen the light and do not want to participate in this "relationship" anymore. I have tried several times to let him know that I no longer wanted to deal with him, but there is a challenge...

We work for a huge, great, public company. We also work on the same floor so I have to see him everyday. I don't want to leave the job b/c it's a very prestigious place to be. How do I avoid having feelings for him when I have to see him on a daily basis??? Any suggestions on how to end this affair?

If he's married then it should be a no-brainer!

Or you could write a letter defining the reasons, you want out.

Fold it up and put the letter in your purse so you can pull it out everyday

when you get to work

those times when you see him from across the room (and get those feelings)

after you bump into him in the hall or elsewhere and he wants to get back together

You've already decided to end this relationship but it sounds like your having difficulty in putting this to words.

It is simple, just say No!

You should let him know how you feel. You don't have to quit your job just because you had an affair with him. Tell him that you are there strictly for the job and nothing else. If you have had an affair with him that long and he hasn't left his wife, he isn't going to. He is just using you. You should never get involved with a married man or a coworker. Both of those spell nothing but trouble.

Well u made ur bed so u have to lay in it.................its good you have come to see the light...........in mu opinion no woman deserves to be number 2 everyone is good enough to be number 1. But in opinion the best thing to do is find some way to get off his floor and if u cant u might have to quit. To get someone or something out of ur system you have to quit cold turkey for awhile until the temptation pases if it neve passes then you should never be around the person.

Pick one: your honor or your paycheck.
Quit the job, the "prestige" hardly matters if you've been having an affair with a married co-worker. I'm sure everyone knows what you've been up to anyway. Best to start fresh elsewhere.
