if you have sex on your most fertile day of the month and abstain one week beforehand?

Deanna - The category I posted in is "trying to conceive" not "oh my god what do it do", you would think that that alone would tell you that I'm trying to get pregnant. And as far as my age goes, I would venture to guess that I'm much older than you.

A perfectly normal, healthy couple has a 25% chance of concieving each cycle. Thats not that bad 1 in every 4! And if you abstain a week before he will have a higher sperm count but only that one time. There is research where if the sperm isn't used in a particular amount of time that they may be large in count but not as healthy ( not as active which you want active sperm so they can swim to the egg). And like they saying goes ... "if you don't use it, you'll lose it." Men make sperm like it aint nothing so use them up if you are trying to concieve ... Good Luck!

Well I didn't abstain the week before, but I did have sex on my most fertile days and I am currently 5 weeks 4 days pregnant. Good Luck!!!!

The alcohol in Robitussin thins out the mucous lining of the vaginal wall increasing the chances of conception. Vitex a health supplement also helps in combination with that, but make sure he does not take it. It increases estrogen your body produces and helps with female fertility, but it can decrease a man's fertility, but that for if your really serious. As for what day your most fertile you may not be able to go by that if your body produces a lot of mucous.

Oh my, how old are you??? The other ? is are you trying to have a baby?
It only takes once to get pregnant and really if you are trying to get pregnant that just have sex all the time don't think about making a baby.. think and enjoy your mate/man/husband/etc. and that's when it'll happen. No odds just do it!
