No he did not go. He sent a press statement to the media,saying he was deeply saddened by her death. The media contacted him over the death and ask about her being buried next to her idol Marilyn Monroe,If he will allow her to be buried there.He owns the plot next to her and that is were he will be buried. No celebs were there really just family friends and media, Joe Nichols sang.

I think he did go. I remember hearing something about him showing up on Entertainment Tonight.
