For those who do not know, I play hockey, I coach hockey and I live hockey!
Here is my take on females and hockey.
1. Where is it written that hockey is a male sport?
2. Female Ice Hockey is one of the fastest growing sports in Canada!
3. I have played with female players and they can outskate many men, due to their traditional backgrounds of figure skating.

Why not? As long as you're interested. (and why won't you be) It's an exciting, fast game with hot guys. A lot of girls love hockey. I even have my own subscription to The Hockey News. Give it a try I'm sure you'll love it.

heck yes i think girls can love hockey. thats all my room is. i have NHL bedding and i have posters and pictures up all over my room. i go to as many games a year as i can and all my friends say i am obsessed since i watch and talk about hockey all the time, but i just say i am a hardcore hockey fan. girls can like any sport they want to as much as they want to, and girls like us show that.

i love ice hhockey!
so yeah i think girls can love it.
but thats not to get confused with loving hockey but the players instead.
see. some girls cant be hockey fans bc they only like to watch it bc the players are hott.
and i like hockey for hockey.
i mean sure there are some hotties. but thats def. not the reason some gilrs like me and hopefully you watch the game.

Absolutely ... I've been a HUGE hockey fan since I was 8 years old ... I'm 38 now. I've seen every single Ranger game since 1993 except one and that was because I was in the hospital having a baby. But my husband taped it for me and I watched it 3 days later when I got home.

My wife likes hockey. We even go to games every now and then. She says the only problem with hockey is she can't see their butts!! 8^)

Hockey is the perfect sport for girls.
When my friends ask me why i love hockey so much i till them there is nothing better than hot, sweating, muscle clad, guys on ice trying to kill each other.

absolutely! i know several women hockey players, they love the game. and watching the olympic games last year, the women's hockey was probably the most exciting part of the games. and the fact that Angela Ruggiero was voted on to the Apprentice shows how women athletes are so respected.

of course they can.... me and my girls go to a lot of lightning games! theres just some thing about watching that impossible save or seeing your team score the amazing goal. nothing beats a good hit like the kind you see on sportscenters top 10. so yeah girls can love it too..... and not just for an attractive guy. GO BOLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
