My best guy friend and I are really great friends and we tell each other pretty much everything, we r great friends. Well i am n the ninth grade and for freshmen we have a from (freshman prom) and we had decided that if we couldn't get dates that we would go together as friends. Well a few days ago he asked me at lunch if i would go with him to the from, i said sure. Then he said that Blair (one of his other friends) had been bugging him to ask me to go with him.
He has also talked to me about how his Mom thinks we should go out, but then laughs it off. I'm not really sure whats going...
See he liked one of my other friends and things got out and she just laughed at him (which i thought was mean! bc they r good friends 2) so i am not sure if he likes me and is just to scared to do much of anything then give me hints.
What do u think? Does he like me or not?

Don't rush it. My son had a friend like you and they went to the Prom, and kissed once, but decided it was better just to be friends. They are both married now at 21yrs. old and both have kids, but they stay in touch.

hmm...tough to tell. You know, it sounds like you two have an awesome friendship going, and you probably won't want to hear this, but I wouldn't press the issue of him liking you more than a friend. A best guy friend is an awesome thing for a girl to have, so please appreciate it on that level first. Maybe you can just keep hanging out and talking with him, and if something more is meant to be, then it will happen. (ugh, stupid cliche, right?)
Not that this is your case *at all*, I just think it's funny and want to share: my best guy friend (we went to prom together) from high school recently came out as gay! I couldn't be happier for him; he's a great guy. I'm pretty positive this isn't the case with your guy; I'm just saying you can't make a guy fall for you!

I think he likes you just boys are like that and they know girls are smart so they just expect you to know so in conclusion he likes you and you should tell him you like him and ya ll will have a happy prom and you will get a beautiful promise ring(Te-he)( j/k) about the ring part but it might happen!!!!)

If he sneaks peeks at you during class when you're not looking,then yes.He may just want to stay friends too.If yall tell absolutely everything to each other,then he would tell you.
