Help on Pokemon team?

I have pokemon gold. This is my planned team so far.

Alakazam
Tyranitar
Arcanine

Who else should I add, in terms of stats and advantages/weaknesses?

This is the lineup that I have on my Pokemon Gold Cartridge

Dragonite- Versatile moveset, good defense against all types except ice, good stats overall
Tyranitar- High physical defense and physical attack power, used to counter psychic types
Alakazam- High speed and special attack, effective against all types except dark types
Gyarados- Versatile moveset, high physical attack and physical defense, can hold own against most types except well-trained electric
Nidoking- Versatile moveset, high physical attack, used to counter electric types
Charizard- High speed and physical/special attack, can hold own against most types except well-trained rock pokemon


This lineup will be effective against a team comprised of any types. However, you might also consider a reserve team of starmie or jolteon, as they both have high speed (starmie also has versatile moveset and high physical defense, and jolteon has high special attack)

You've got a Psychic, Rock/Dark, and Fire type. Maybe go for an Electric type for a possible Water type enemy? Then maybe a Ghost type for a possible Psychic Type enemy. Or a Water type for a possible Fire Type.
