Bangladesh should beat Bermuda, this will take them to four points. Sri Lanka should be Bermuda as well which will also put them on four points. India will therefore need to beat Bermuda and Sri Lanka to have a chance. This does not appear likely.
They'll fall away as Pakistan already has.
The Super 8 shall be comprised of Australia, South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, England, Ireland and the West Indies.
The Semis shall have Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and the West Indies.
The Final shall be between Australia and South Africa/New Zealand.

India has to win the next two matches: against Bermuda and against Bangladesh to qualify for the super eight stage.
If two or more teams have same points, then the following methods in turn will be used to decide which team goes through to the super eight stage:
* Most Wins
* Higher Net Run Rate
* Higher Number of Wickets Taken Per Ball
* Winners of Head to Head Matches
* The Drawing Of Lots

If India and Bangladesh end up with equal points each, doesn't Bangladesh go into the Super 8s, just because they have beaten India in a previous game? The run-rate wouldn't come into account then.... correct me if I am wrong....

If india wins the matches against bermuda and srilanka then the in group B india, srilanka and bangladesh would have 2 wins against their name. so to qualify for the super 8 only run rates would be considered. Though bangladesh has defeated india in the league match that wouldnt be considered because, bangladesh defeated india, india would have defeated srilanka and srilanka would have defeated bangladesh. so this would get into a deadlock situation. so only runrates would be considered. So as rightly said, india need to win the remaining two matches keeping an eye on the runrate to qualify for the super 8. Nevertheless if srilanka gets defeated by bangladesh and india, then also india has got a chance to get into super 8.

They have very little chance.
Bangladesh will beat Bermuda - so that's 2 wins.
Sri Lanka already beat Bermuda - that's 1 win.
Sri Lanka will beat Bangladesh - that's 2 wins.
India will beat Bermuda - 1 win.
India will have to beat Sri Lanka - that's not easy. That's the game that will decide the group.
Even then, at 2 wins each something else will decide who goes through and I'm not sure what that is. I can't find the Rules anywhere.

The net run rate is not cumulative as explained by one of the post before. Agreed, current NR of Srilanka is +4.86 and if SriLanka wins by a match NR of +0.14 against Bangladesh it will not become +5.00. For example, India won by 257 runs, i.e., (257/50) 5.14 NR of the match. But their current NR is 2.507. Because the total number of overs they played increased. Similarly, if Srilanka wins by the same margin as India lost to Bangladesh, Srilanka's NR will also drop to less than 2.5.

As on date, the Current Situation in India's group looks like this:
Team Matches Played Won Lost Points Net Run Rate
Sri Lanka 1 1 0 2 +4.86
India 2 1 1 2 +2.507
Bangladesh 1 1 0 2 +0.14
Bermuda 2 0 2 0 -5.00
Looking at the above run rate, lets assume the situation which is most likely to happen. As we know the match between Bangladesh and India was quite close, Bangladesh won and they acquired 2 points and +.14 net run rate , India lost and suffered deficit net run rate -0.14, now after beating Bermuda, India ‘s net run rate is +2.507.
Now tomorrow is the match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, lets Hope that the worst case scenario happens from the India’s point of view that match is close and is similar to the match between Bangladesh and India. So, Sri Lanka wins and gains +0.14 addition to their net run rate and Bangladesh looses and their net run rate slips to 0 after subtracting 0.14. The best case would be that Bangladesh is beaten badly and their net run rate slips to negative.
Probable scenario after Sri Lanka and Bangladesh match on Tuesday if Sri Lanka beats Bangladesh :-
Team Matches Played Won Lost Points Net Run Rate
Sri Lanka 2 2 0 4 +5.0
India 2 1 1 2 +2.507
Bangladesh 2 1 1 2 0
Bermuda 2 0 2 0 -5.00
Now lets talk about match on Friday between India and Sri Lanka. It’s a must win match for India. If India looses, India is out then there is no point talking about net run rate. If India wins and the match is close, then India gains marginally an additional run rate +0.14, which accumulates net run rate 2.507+0.14 = 2.647
The best case would be India wins it comprehensively and gains more additional run rate i.e. more than 2.647, but that would too ambitious .
Probable scenario after Sri Lanka and India match on Friday if India beats Sri Lanka :-
Team Matches Played Won Lost Points Net Run Rate
Sri Lanka 3 2 1 4 +4.86
India 3 2 1 4 +2.647
Bangladesh 2 1 1 2 0
Bermuda 2 0 2 0 -5.00
Now let’s talk of the match between Bangladesh and Bermuda assuming that Bangladesh would win that match. But hoping that after their win their net run rate will not be above India’s run rate i.e. 2.647 , we should not only cheer India but we will have to cheer Bermuda also. And also Sri Lanka when Sri Lankans plays against Bangladesh.
Probable scenario after Bangladesh and Bermuda match on Sunday if Bangladesh beats beats Bermuda:-
Team Matches Played Won Lost Points Net Run Rate
Sri Lanka 3 2 1 4 +4.86
India 3 2 1 4 +2.647
Bangladesh 3 2 1 4 0
Bermuda 3 0 3 0 -5.00
Now lots of people must be wondering what if Bangladesh beats Sri Lanka on Tuesday? Then its even simpler. It means Bangladesh qualifies for the next round, and the match on Friday between Sri Lanka and India is a must win for both teams whoever wins qualifies and whoever looses gets out.
Even if Bangladesh looses on Sunday against Bermuda, they will qualify by default after beating Sri Lanka and India, as Bermuda is already out.

with idiots like sehwag and Dravid in the team, there is NO WAY they can qualify, and I tell you, yours is a very stupid question because the Indian team is Not interested in playing, they are Only interested in MODELING. If Dravid, Sehwag, Sachin, Yuvraj, Harbhajan are SACKED then we MAY have some hope of reaching the super 8
