The only dairy products I was told to avoid was unpasturized ones.. such as homemade goatcheese, etc. You should be fine with ricotta but if it would make you feel better I would double check with the doc.

My dr told me that i can eat any cheese as long as it is processed, and to be in a store or resturant it must be processed! the only one that is not that i can remember is Blue Cheese! your suppost to just becareful on how much you eat of it so you don't get bacterial infection! umm there was another one but i can't remember it. ask your dr. they will tell you which ones not to eat! good luck i hope this helps!
God Bless

I'm guessing that it's supposed to be avoided more because it's not the healthiest for you and may cause stomach problems (maybe.) So long as you're not gourging on it and eating it every day, you should be fine unless your doctor has restricted your diet. I couldn't survive without eating pastas with my middle child--I craved them something fierce!

Yes, I think you can. Ask your doc to make sure. Your dr. should give you more info on what you can or can't eat. It's safer if you ask your Dr.

It's okay to eat any food you want to eat as long as it's not drugs or alcohol or cigarettes... food is good to eat while you are pregnant.. what ever your belly/baby tells you it wants
