No. He retired in 2004. The Devils retired his uniform number 4 on Feb. 3, 2006 and he became the first Devils player to get his number retired.

As others have said, he is retired. He announced his retirement as an active player on Tuesday, September 6, 2005.

no he retired in 2004 after suffering a concussion.they didn't call him captain crunch for nothing.he was a great defense man and if you watch nj devils on center ice he appears on there sometimes.he looks much different out of uniform.it was sad to see such a great player retire i loved watching him play.he probally holds the record for legal knock outs in the nhl.

No, he retired thank God. What a cheap shot artist! Only fitting he got a concussion - he deserved it. Too bad it didn't happen sooner! Between him an Claude Lemieux it would be a hard choice for most un-sportsmanship.

Sadly, no. He retired. He was a great defenseman.

I believe he a head Coach for a team.. but I could be mixing up names.
