I have had a small lump on my right test for about 10 years now it never bothered me but now it gets painful from time to time and I mean painful any hints?

I suggest you see a urologist as soon as possible. The truth of the matter is that any unexplained lump should always be investigated. It may be nothing but it could be something quite serious. Did you know that many cancers start out as a non-painful lump but years later cause all sorts of problems? Please see a urologist just to put your mind at ease and to be diagnosed. Chances are, it is nothing but only an examination and possible testing will give you the answer.
