Click and hold on Internet Explorer icon on your desktop.
drag it on to the Start menu and wait for it to pop up.
drag it to the place where you want Internet Explorer to be.

Go into programs on the start menu. Find IE. Right-click "pin to start menu."

Right click a blank area of the DESKTOP, click NEW, click SHORTCUT, BROWSE, MY COMPUTER, C:, PROGRAM FILES, INTERNET EXPLORER, iexplore.exe, OK, NEXT, FINISH. Then drag & drop the shortcut onto the start menu.
