binary fission if done by bacteria....basically the dna of the mother cell replicates and the cell elongates. on set of dna goes to one side and another set goes to the other side of the cell. the cell then pinches in to form two duaghter cells.

budding is another form of asexual reproduction that is done by hydra. it is very similar to binary fission. the only difference really is that the cell does not pinch in half to form two equal daughter cells but rather the daughter cell buds off the mother cell. the daughter cells is smaller than the mother cells and must grow.
