until you reach a certain age?

I think it is because humans are designed to breath with their diaphram and stomach - then we reach a certain age and we are conditioned by waist bands to not use our stomachs as much. Then we get to be teens and want to be skinny so we consciously suck our tummies in.

I wonder what that does to our breathing and if that is why so many futuristic shows have people in 1 piece outfits with no waistband.

Peace!
