When I try to sync my ipod with itunes a message says "the ipod could not be updated because required files cannot be found", and another one saying, "cannot be read from or written to". I updated itunes restored my ipod and I'm still having this problem. Please help with ANY suggestions.

First of all, make sure you have the correct cord that you use to sync your music onto your ipod. Also, make sure it is in there good and not loose.

You might need what i had: An Update! Or maybe your ipod needs to be cleaned for bugs or something..

If you need a download for the update, google search what it says is wrong with it and download the requirments. Make sure the site you use is working and doesnt mess with your ipod.

If you try all you can, i would switch to a different music account. Ex: Napster. I've had it for years and it has given me no problems and it is always being updated with the files and stuff...

Try apple.com. I had that problem and now mine works. go to the help section and youve got answers. If that doesnt help, google on other sites. Ask around or whatever.

Hope it is solved and ends up working! Good Luck!

its annoying. i gave up on autosynch. lots of bugs in it i think, at least wen i tried it.

Still if your pc got restored, your iTunes files got moved. You can search for them in the my computer and then enter the folder back.

i dont know proper way to do it but i searched
