Why does he was to change? It's daft to want to try to be something other than what he actually is. If he tries to be somethign he's not then he'll just look like an idiot, never mind a poser.

Just tell him to be himself - that way if he's likeable people will like him for who he is - not who he's pretending to be.

Who the hell wants to be part of a particular scene anyway?! They're all just a bunch of sheep! Be yourself, be indivual - THEN you can be cool.

To me, a poser is someone who is uncomfortable with their style, and you can tell. There is this girl at my school who used to be the BIGGEST PREP, and now she is... like emo, or somethin like that, and she looks soooooo uncomfortable in what she is wearing. So to me, she is a poser. If your friend wants to change his style and it truly is HIM, then who cares what other people think. If he is just doing it to be cool or whatever, people will be able to tell, and then they will really think he is a poser. I say tell him to change if thats what he wants, be an individual, who cares what others think! Hope this helps!

if he wants to change just to make friends, hes out of luck... if they dont like him now, they arent going to like him then...

if he is doing it to impress someone, yeah, he might, but they will not be true friends... they only like him because of his change...

dont change to be someone your not...

k? tell him that...

true friends are there from the start and there til the finish...

people who aren't happy with being themselves will be made fun of whether they like it or not. it's stupid to try being what he's not
