There are quite a few I could say here because I think they are all about equal, but I'll go with Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. The others I was considering are Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones. Love of My life by employing Queen is in all probability the saddest rock song ever. Freddie's voice is so mournful, and the lyrics are candy. that's only as unhappy whilst Brian would performs the song in Freddie's honor.

you just can't go past Stairway to Heaven. The way it gets stronger and louder as the song goes on is just amazing. The mystery of the lyrics just adds to how great the song is. Every time i hear it Robert Plant's voice gives me goosebumps and Jimmy Page' guitar solo would have to be the one of if not best ever solo.

i still remember the first time i saw the video for 'smells like teen spirit'. can't say that for any other song, so i'd say that one.
but i believe the stones' 'satisfaction' has been voted as the best rock song ever.
