i have 7 diff. native bloodlines in me and i was given the name tigerlily b4 i could walk. i would really like to know what it means and which tribe it comes from. im in the process of learning more about my ancestors ways. please help if you can. i found one place i could find my native name, but it had no meaning next to it.

I hate to say this but it could be fake as well. On Peter Pan, which stereotypes Natives horribly, the princesses name is Tiger Lily. Maybe someone pulled it off there?

But it is possible it is true because according to information I found the tiger lily was important to some Native tribes:

If it means anything it probably represents what the tiger lily would represent to the culture. Food, Roots, Culture, etc..
