My skin routine is...... usually everyday in the morning while in the shower i wash my face with this sponge thing (which i cannot remember the name of) and when i get out out of the shower i put on my face cream.

At night, i wash it again OR clean it with a face towlette....

Lately though, my face has been VERY dry ...to the point where i can see the skin kind of flake off! Besides my skin being very dry, it is also oily in the T-Zone and get blackheads on my nose.....

I dont think i have a MAJOR acne problem (it is really rare when i get big zits, usually only get blackheads) , but im tired of dealing with my dry skin.....

I need a daily routine that doesnt take a lot of time, but that will work...any suggestions?

First check the cleanser that you are using. If it contains Sodium Laurl sulfate.stop using it. SLS is what makes cleansers bubble. It is very drying & caustic.

If your skin is flaking off, your moisturizer is not doing the job. I wish I knew what brand you were using. Most likely it is just sitting on the cuticle of your skin (the dead & dying cells) so it is not doing the live cells any good.

Without knowing your age it is hard for me to say what your routine needs to be. Minamally you should cleanse, tone, moisturize twice a day and using a deep action scrub at least once a week. Your night time cleaning should be with something that will remove makeup and any debris that has settled on your skin during the day.

Make sure you are not using hot water, as that strips the natural oils rom your skin. The oil control moisturizer & scrub should help with the blackheads.

Well, I wish I knew what kind of cleanser you're using cause that would help a lot.

Anyways, you just have combo skin (dry patches, oily t-zone). Try getting a facial cleanser (for combination skin) that cleanses thoroughly (but doesnt leave you skin feeling taut (thats when you know your cleanser dries out your skin)). Don't use a regular bar of soap (dries out your skin). On TOP of that, get a moisturizer (everyone NEEDS a moisturizer), a simple and cheap one is cetaphil's moisturizer (I use Olay's moisturizer with SPF 15, keeps my skin from flaking and doesnt feel like how sunscreen feels). Also, once a week, try exfoliating (with a FACIAL scrub), biore's pore strips (for your blackheads) and slather on a pore refining mask (it may sound a lot, but it should only take you 30 minutes all together)

k go to the drug store and buy this cleanser called Cetaphil. It costs like 10$ and its the most highly recomended cleanser by doctors. It cleans and removes make up very well but it doesnt make your fae overly dry. Some cleansers dry out all the oil then your skin will over compensate for the lost oil by adding extra on top of the skin that is already really dried out so you'll have skin that is both too dry and too oily at the same time. Cetaphil solves that problem. I have the same problem 'combo skin' and it worked well for me but make sure you use moisturizor as well.

make sure that you remove the make up every nite before bed and moisturize well. skip the wash in the shower -it's probably too much. the water should be fine and moisturize well afterwards. always use skin products for sensitive skin. visit the cosmetic counters at the shops in the mall for advice and to sample their products. invest in good skin care products -not just the drugstore varieties.
