I think he's a wacko. An aquaintance of mine pestered me for years to watch one of his Cooper tapes. Finally I caved.

In the tape, Cooper talked about George H. W. Bush being the evil center of all that is conspiratorial in the world. He discussed the meaning of "Novus Ordo Seclorum" on the dollar bill; it means "New World Order," a phrase Bush (41) was famous for using. Cooper claimed that it all tied-in with centuries of history with freemasons and Skull and Bones.

Cooper claimed that all of this history and secret symbolism would culminate with George H. W. Bush, on December 31, 1999, appearing at the pyramids of Giza to receive the Extra-Terrestrial Aliens that President Eisenhower had signed a treaty with. Since the Treaty signing, according to Cooper, the aliens have been patiently waiting on the Moon (which he said was the real reason for NASA). On 1999, Bush would become the human emperor of the earth with co-shared power with the Aliens. This was supposed to be the New World Order.

Cooper also claimed that JFK was shot by his limo driver. I won't bore you with the hilarious details of his warped reasoning.

Cooper made other outlandish claims which reinforced my impression of his nuttiness.

I don't think William Cooper is a fraud. I think he genuinely believes this stuff. He certainly isn't an American hero either.
