it wont print at all. the paper doesnt even move. after I click on print it always says error.

it only scans but it doesnt print.

Try unplugging all cords & cables, wait a minute, the replug. DONT FORGET to unplug the USB cable from the BACK OF YOUR COMPUTER too!! (that was the magic trick when my printer was having an epilectic fit).

your printer is cacheing the the jobs in the queues. Sometimes rebooting will clear out the queues or you may need to open the box and select to print or cancel the print jobs. Click on the printer Icon on the system tray.(right hand taskbar) open the queue box. Also try the cancel button on the printer.

Another suggestion-check your plug in. I went crazy with the same problem. It turned out first that the plug in I was using was temporarily dead (I had old wiring that made it come & go) & when that still didn't work I followed the line & discovered it had come loose from the box the plug in went into between the printer & plug in. I pushed it back in all the way & everything began printing.

try shutting the printer off, then when it loads back up (when u turn it on) then it should start again
