Well first off, the 15-inch tires off the Civic won't fit your 14-inch rims, so you'll need 15-inch rims to put the tires on. If your friend is also giving you the wheels you can probaby forget it. Honda wheels have small hub centers so that even though they have the same bolt pattern as your Corolla rims they probably won't fit.

The other problem is the overall height of the tires. Your OE P175/65R14 81S tire has an overall diameter of 23.0 inches and rotates 904 times per mile. A P185/65R15 86S tire is 24.5 inches in diameter and rotates 849 times per mile. Thus, your odometer and speedometer will be off by quite a bit (read low) assuming of course, the tires fit without interference.

As a tire professional I wouldn't recommend this.

The corrola is greater sturdy and that i've got faith it rather is alot greater much less costly. greater effective gas mileage. the safety helpful aspects are greater effective as nicely. i think of overall it rather is a greater effective motor vehicle. The corrloa has been around for awhile so the motor vehicle company has had a chace to get each and every of the malicious program out of this form.

Better Check on the wheels before you buy tires that may not
be of any use to you... find you a nice set of 15's that will bolt
and clear calipers etc... and then buy tires...
