Find other blogs that are similar to yours and add comments to them -- many of them allow you to include the URL of your own blog. Of course, only add comments that are relevant to the specific blog post that you are commenting on!
The other thing to do is to link frequently to other bloggers. They often track their traffic sources and referrers, so they will notice if there is a new blog "on the block", so to speak.
Blogger doesn't offer trackbacks, but if you switch to a platform like Typepad, you'll be able to use that to "trackback" to a blog that you've linked to.
Lastly, make sure that your blog posts are search engine friendly. Think of the keywords that someone would use and make sure you include them in the title of your blog and a few times in your text.

Well, my blog is http://justindean.terapad.com ... On Terapad the community page send me lots of traffic, also it has built in search engine optimisation so you can quickly get indexed on Google etc.
