Wash it in fresh water to get the chlorine out of it (shower does the trick nicely). Don't leave it drying in the sun for too long.

it depends on the material and quality of the suit. the pool chemicals will do some damage to the suit, so rinse it in cool water in the shower, wring out, and line dry.

try washing it in cold water before you wear it and dry it in the shade. never dry it in the sun and make sure that it has been rinsed thoroughly of all chlorine. try not to wear it in a heated pool or spa.

yeah, make sure to rinse it out as soon a u can...washing by hand in woolite has always worked for me, & then hanging to dry, NEVER putting it in the dryer...also, if u plan to swim a lot, it`s nice if u can have several swimsuits & then u can change them out so you`re not always wearing the same one...

When you get out of the pool, rinse off in those showers that are outside. (I know its cold, but thats what they are there for)
And rinse your bathing suit again in cold water and lay it out to dry.
GOOD LUCK!

Stay out of the chlorine and if you do, rinse it out right away. It will slow down the inevitable.
